SET UP 1: Like every year, LOUISE McINTOSH puts together the post office calendar for the new year to come.
SET-UP 2: GERTRUD SCHMIDT, the butcher’s wife, goes to PETER’s toy shop to buy her husband his birthday present. PETER tries his best to be pleasant but GERTRUD is not easily pleased.
