Created to facilitate teaching of New Edexcel 9-1 GCSE Medicine Through Time unit.
This is the third in my series of lessons for this unit.
Focused on an enquiry question with clear learning intentions, activities are designed with a focus on developing historical skills in addition to acquiring knowledge.
Differentiated resources support LPA / MPA / HPA pupils with minimal fuss as two sided printing offers the same information with or without additional bold text highlighting to draw attention to key points. Alternative resources are included to allow for teacher distribution of differentiated sheets to support identified pupils.
Resources including presentation created using font and size of text which have been suitable for pupils with SEN.
Full Lesson includes :
Starter - Differentiated to challenge LPA / MPA / HPA
Full presentation with additional teacher notes to support delivery - including suggested opportunities for peer or self assessment.
Focus on SPaG in quotation challenge.
Homework task included - range of options for this including one utilizing a source already discussed as part of the lesson to support LPA.
