GCSE Biology: Animal and Plant Cells (Lesson 7)

These resources were developed through a huge effort by our department. This lesson compares animal and plant cells. It requires students to go further than simply copying down definitions. Actively building, “cell cities” and using on-line games allows students to explore cells in a different format. There will be a focus on RER, ribosomes and mitochondria to ensure students develop their understanding of organelles and move on from the stereotypical KS3 cells they may have drawn previously.
