It includes subtopics such as the definition, word equation and chemical equation for photosynthesis; adaptation of leaves for photosynthesis; adaptation of leaf for gas exchange; adaptation of leaf to absorb light; tissue layers in leaves and their function; test for starch; destarching leaves; tests to show that light, chlorophyll and carbon dioxide are needed for photosynthesis; measuring the rate of photosynthesis; factors affecting the rate of photosynthesis; uses of sugar made during photosynthesis and limiting factor graphs. It is an excellent resource for both students and teachers. It can be used by students in their own private revision. I developed this resource when revising for my own GCSE exams, in which i received grade A star A star in double award science. It can also be used by teachers in the classroom as notes when they go through these topics together with their class.
