Post NEA, I often find the transition back to full theory and exam prep a challenge for some students where their independence is curtailed.
This pack of activity is something I have used for several years, and helps give some interest and a bit of fun to the long slog in to the exams.
The premise is that every child in the class is given one or two topics each to then prepare a short 5-10 minute ‘do now’ mini-lesson on, which then forms by starter activity for the coming weeks. The paperwork gives them a simple lesson plan, and requirements (which I have to say they take surprisingly seriously, particularly those you wouldn’t expect!)
I enclose a grid of topics (print on A3 and guillotine) which is essentially a list of 26 topics from AQA GCSE D&T, each with some headlines, and direction to page numbers within the CGP revision guides. There is also a handout with guidance and lesson planning.
