Some work I used with my GCSE group on showing facial expression, mood, movement & gestures to show choreographic intent and how to convey different moods.
Powerpoint guides student through changing facial expression and body language to show different moods, then builds to discover how we can use movement to show different dance ideas, stories, themes and choreographic intents.
Great for choreography projects and getting students to convey their ideas more clearly.
Can also be applied to performance to encourage more use of expressive skills.
I have used this with KS4 but could also work with capable KS3 students
