This extract gives students a structured exam style paper. Activities are broken down into steps, giving weaker students the opportunity to access a challenging text. The text gives questions which follow the style of Language Paper 1 for AQA - analysing language, writing about structure and evaluating a section of the extract. It can easily be modified for any other exam board.
There are writing activities to include vocabulary building, as well as the usual exam style writing activity, with 2 writing options, one of which is a picture stimulus task.
