These are 3 useful grids I created to mark the components of the New MFL GCSE Speaking Exam.
The criteria are based on the AQA markschemes.
This can help MFL teachers to mark while conducting the exam or during moderation. It can also be a useful tool when giving feedback to students.
How to use the grids?
1. Role Play - write the score per task in each column and the overall score in the last column.
2. Photo card - Highlight the relevant boxes as the student speaks.
3. General Conversation - tick anytime the student uses the criteria listed.
You will need to refer to the AQA criteria afterwards to decide on the marks to give.
