Section 1 - are fast timed activities to try and get the students thinking of different methods of designing followed by discussion around empirical, intuitive and systematic design. Also framed around the initial designing question (Q1) on the exam which will ask students to design using different starting points.
Section 2 - refresher on anthropometrics and ergonomics - great opportunity for whiteboard answers or even working together in pairs to try and product a ‘perfect’ answer. Followed by the example exam question.
Section 3 - Product development - including copyright patents and an example exam question.
