Teacher presentation introducing the German alphabet. Puzzle to solve first as the starter rearranging a familiar phrase. Then there is drilling of the alphabet sounds. Pupils complete a short dialogue introducing themselves and spelling their name. To consolidate learning there is a quiz of 9 common German words in the English language e.g. Fahrenheit that the pupils have to spell using their knowledge of the German alphabet.
Also included is a print out of the alphabet that is ideal for learners to stick in their book for future reference and encourage independent learning.
