Animated video lesson. Every year on November 5th, Britain celebrates the event known as 'Bonfire Night' or sometimes 'Guy Fawkes Night' with fireworks and bonfires all over the country. This short, humorous video tells the history behind the event. The story follows the plot by a group of Catholics to assassinate the first Stuart king of England, James 1, by using gunpowder in an attempt to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

1. An SD version of the movie and links to an online and downloadable HD version. The movie is Quicktime. Please make sure you have this software before downloading.
