H&SC, Unit 8: Promoting Public Health - Learning aims A&B

This resource supports the 2016 specification for Health & Social Care; BTEC National Extended Diploma.

It covers all teaching and learning for learning aims A&B.
Supporting worksheets accompany the PowerPoint too.

There are an array of tasks set within the PowerPoint such as WHO video analysis, links to current and topical matters such as Covid 19, research tasks, analysis of graphs/charts, Q&A related to public health articles, maths challenges related to statistical data, sources to promote independent reading etc.

The PowerPoint has 47 slides. It supports the students employability skills, study skills and maths and English too.

The specification states that there should be examples specific to your local geographical area, mine relates to the Greater Manchesters area, but my examples can be substituted with others.
