This is a great resource for EYFS/KS1 learners.

They are useful as they help your students build a better understanding of their first sounds. They can see different examples of letters of the alphabet and it tests whether your students know what each word begins with. This helps them to work out the sound of the letter.

This activity also boosts their knowledge of sounds. They might have seen one of the pictures names written down and it gets them to associate different alphabetical letters with different images. Having space to write the letter gives your class a head start with spelling too.

There are two versions of this activity; one to trace, for those learners that are still working towards forming their letters correctly and one activity to write, for those learners who can independently form letters correctly.

This is a .pdf resource. If you need it amended to suit your class in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me at mswildflowerteacher@gmail.com.

Thanks,

Louise
