Designed for use with CIE IGCSE English Literature 0486 (2019) and 0992 (2020), this resource encourages students to look carefully at a range of details used to create the character of Bounderby.
Starts with a great clip from Monty Python - the ‘Yorkshiremen’ sketch! This resource was designed for an able group and therefore includes additional terminology more often found in language study, but could easily be adapted to support less able students.
The extracts from the novel are included - these were printed in the middle of an A4 sheet and students annotate.
Lastly… please excuse my messy board handwriting - I have left it in place to give you an idea how the tasks could be completed.
