This fully resourced lesson on the history is designed to help GCSE students develop their understanding of how and why the atomic model has changed over time through clear explanations and engaging activities.

This is the 5th in a series of lessons and covers the content from the AQA GCSE 4.1.1(.3) A simple model of the atom, symbols, relative atomic mass, electronic charge and isotopes topic and OUP Kerboodle GCSE Chemistry Scheme C1.5, History of the atom lesson.
