House and home numeracy sentence builder

This is an excellent game for pupils to build their numeracy skills and extend their sentences. A number flashes on the left hand side and pupils use the sentence openers to say what is in their house and bedroom. They make the multiple using the grid. This can be extended using negative structures. This is a fun way for pupils to practice their speaking and can lead on to a written task. This was highlighted during an OFSTED visit as outstanding practice as the conversation developed freely and improved pupils' confidence and attainment levels.
