Hypothesis test using Normal Distribution

This spreadsheet will generate a standard z-test for the mean, assuming a normally distributed random variable with given standard deviation. It will then show the solution step by step or all at once. You can also enter or paste in your own data, alternative hypothesis and confidence level.

You will need to allow Excel to run macros by pressing “enable content” when you open the file.
