This product is a speed drill PowerPoint that is timed and editable allowing you to change the timing based on the needs of your students.
This download includes EIGHT PowerPoint speed drills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations with INTEGERS. Student tracking sheet included.
The slides are set up to change every 6 seconds. I begin the drill with my students at 6 seconds, and then speed it up as they become quicker. I alternate version A and version B and maintain their score daily on a tracking sheet for growth. Provides great documentation for student support and modifications.
The PowerPoint files are editable; therefore, you can change the amount of time allotted for each slide.
How I use this in my classroom:
I purchased jars from the Dollar Tree for each class period. Those who earn 30 out of 30 trade their paper in for gem (fish tank beads). Once the class jar is full, they earn a reward (class party, game time, etc.).
