This is a video tutorial from Mr Buckton who gives a concise and clear explanation of factorising quadratic expressions at KS3/GCSE. There is also an interactive worksheet generating and factorising expressions randomly.
The randomly derived questions can be selected using an Option Box
x2 + bx + c (grade B)
ax2+ bx + c (grade A)
The method employed for factorising into brackets utilises sums and products to split the x coefficient term and grid multiplication.
Select blue and yellow or white bordered areas to reveal method and solutions.

Looks just what I need to help my year 11 intermediate class. Thank you.
What a fantastic resource!
Mr Buckton does it again, another excellent resource. An excellent and clear explanation of something students often find difficult to grasp. Thank you.
