Internet Safety KS2 PSHE

A mini bundle of Primary PSHE resources with a focus on internet safety, responsible internet use and online dangers. Suitable for KS2 or KS3 students (Year 7 - lower ability).

This bundle includes the following lessons:

1. Online gaming and making friends in online communities.
2. Social media and its effects on our mental health.
3. Positive relationships and the dangers of meeting people online.
4. Online safety - our privacy and what we mean by keeping our personal data safe.
5. Asking for help - a guide to helpful sites for young people as well as other advice on what do do if we are worried by things either online or off-line.
6. What is screen time and why should we try to limit it?
7. Why do we have age restrictions on media content?
8. Why do people act differently online and how can we spot red flags?
9. Fake News - Being a discerning consumer of information
10. What is cyberbullying and how can we help stop it?

All lessons include: a 1-2 hour PowerPoint, worksheets, clip links with questions, differentiated activities, starter activity and clear measurable learning outcomes, new key-term introductions, group presentation materials and creative tasks.

All lessons are fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow. Please note this is an updated version of one of our previous primary lessons.
