This resource covers clay safety, additive and reductive techniques, kiln and firing information as well as key techniques such as scoring and slipping and sgraffito. This particular PPT is used to teach students how to produce a Hamsa Hand sculpture but the clay introduction can be used for any clay project and I often use the same one for a range of tasks. Complete with Hamsa Hand design worksheet too.
