Introduction to the Science lab

These three fully resourced lessons are the perfect starting point for Year 7 students in science. Packed with experiments and activities, they will help students develop essential lab skills, understand lab safety procedures, and learn how to use scientific equipment correctly.

The topics covered in this series of lessons include:
-Lab safety
-Equipment and making measurements
-The Bunsen burner

The presentations are also accompanied by a student science passport and certificate of completion. The passport allows students to track their progress through the series, and the certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete all three lessons.

Aimed at a mixed ability class.

Each presentation contains:
