A jigsaw starter challenges students to identify the scientific instrument by turning over differentiated numbers of squares. Students define what the Scientific Revolution was. Activity worksheet allows students to work in pairs to identify inventions of the Scientific Revolution, their function and to suggest how these inventions improved and continue to improve peoples lives. Students are further challenged to evaluate which scientific invention was the most important/significant in their opinion giving detailed reasons for their choice using Point Evidence, Explain Link paragraph structures.
