One of them will be visiting their grandparents and the other will be going on a once-in-a-lifetime trip. The reading includes 8 true/false reading comprehension questions and a short writing assignment.
Includes two versions of the reading: one with a glossary and one with no glossary for differentiated learning.
Activity idea: Have students underline all the future tense verbs they find in the reading. In class or for homework, have students write their own short paragraph about what they will be doing during their upcoming summer using the future tense.
