Jack and the Beanstalk

Hand Drawn Original (by me) Story Map.
Used in my Reception Class and around rest of school as a story telling tool. The linguistic skills of our children when they come into eyfs is well below the national average, using the maps increases the children’s speaking skills rapidly. They begin to understand and talk about the features of stories. The children are excited to use their expanding language and understanding in their writing.
Children also enjoy taking home my story maps to share with parents at home, thus increasing the literacy skills in both environments.
