DESCRIPTION
(Thoughts such as, what does jealousy mean, what it is all about and what its different facets are, may enable the facilitator understand it better. Some such thoughts about jealousy are given below.)
1. Jealousy is the unpleasant emotion against others for what they have; but we don’t.
2. It is the resentment over the fact that one does not own what another person owns, or that one does not receive what another receives.
INTENT
(The objective of the facilitation process is to help each participant explore the topic for himself, individually and independently. Following are some of the objectives of the session.)
1. To analyse whether jealousy occurs to all.
2. To analyse whether jealousy is constructive
3. To explore why jealousy occurs and how one feels when they are jealous
4. To analyse the impact, if any, of jealousy on oneself, people around and situations.
QUESTIONS
(These are some leading questions that the facilitator may contemplate on for understanding and connecting with the topic.)
1. What is jealousy?
2. In what circumstances does one get jealous?
3. Does jealousy affect one’s relationship and his success? If so, how?
4. Can one overcome jealousy? If yes, how?
5. Will jealousy have an impact on others' approach towards us? If yes, what is the impact?
6. Whether being jealous helps us or others in anyway?
7. How do you feel when others are jealous on what you have but they don’t?
