Jekyll and Hyde 5 week scheme of learning outline

This document outlines a lesson by lesson structure for teaching Jekyll and Hyde to KS4 over a five week half term (based upon 4 one-hour lessons per week).

Each lesson includes the following information:

1. Which chapters/pages to read.
2. Lesson objective.
3. Key skills.
4. Key terminology.
5. Challenge.
6. Support.

Each week incorporates two extended pieces of writing: one Literature focussed and one Language focussed (linking to Section B of the AQA Language Paper 1 and Paper 2 GCSEs - creative or persuasive writing.)

The scheme outlines the key themes of Freudian theory, repression and gender.
