Jigsaw Activity information and structured worksheet for emphysema, bronchitis and lung cancer

This resource includes:

1) A PowerPoint containing 5 slides that include:

- an introduction to the diseases caused by smoking slide.
- the Jigsaw Activity instructions slide.
- a slide where you can write the names of the students into their specific groups before the lesson.
- a slide with the differentiated plenary questions on (Grades 7 to 9).
- a who achieved what grade assessment slide.

2) The information for the Jigsaw Activity.

3) A structured worksheet that contains:

- an area where the students write the information about their chosen smoking disease.
- an area where the students can make notes on the other diseases when the other members of the group are teaching them.
- an area where the students can write the answer to their chosen plenary question.
- an area where they can write what grade they achieved for the lesson and what they can do to achieve the next grade.

I used this as part of an outstanding observation lesson. My students loved it too!
