Jobs and Duties - Worksheet

Attached is a fully editable 2-page worksheet related to jobs and their duties.

Also attached is a PDF EDITABLE ONLINE VERSION. You can send this version to your student’s via Google Classroom or email. Your student’s will then be able to complete this worksheet online (as there are boxes on the sheet for your student’s to fill in). Please note: The preview screen does not show the boxes.

Prior to completing the worksheet:

Discuss jobs with the children. Do they know what a job is?

Ask the children (volunteers only) to describe a job they know well (it might be a job their parents have or a job they have seen).

Get them to explain the main roles in the job (A teacher teaches, plans lessons, marks work etc.) and what somebody in that job might say (‘Please look this way’).

Independent task: Complete the Jobs and Duties worksheet (2 pages).
