Guided reading activity on the Johnson County War.
Students start by highlighting each paragraph and then reduce it down to key bullet points with an image (or just one word) to summarise further. At the end they break it down into 3 clear stages to prep for a narrative question (edexcel 1-9) . Used along side a short video clip.
