Great resource - I found it helpful for pupils to follow independently
I like the presentation, my only problem is that this particular joint is not easy to find!! I have had the same problem with replacing similar nuts and bolts in furniture. Does anyone know where captive barrel nuts can be bought? If you do I would be very grateful for your help!
Created by TROUTY53. A cheeky little Power point which helps cover some of the detail around the topic of knock down fixings and in particular components such as the captive barrel and nut. I find it extremely difficult to articulate in words how these types of fixing work and found the Power point to be very useful and helped my sixth formers grasp the concepts.
