This is the fifth lesson in 5 lesson long scheme for KS2 teachers looking to teach Haiku poems to their class. It was originally planned with a Year 3 class in mind but can be easily adapted to cater for Year 4, 5 and 6 classes as required.
Learning Objective: We are learning to improve our own Haiku poems.
Differentiation: This lesson is differentiated to support learners of varying attainment levels. Resources marked as 'Sizzling' appeal to lower attainment learners. Resources marked as 'Hot' appeal to mid attainment learners. Resources marked as 'Scorching' appeal to higher attainment learners. This is in accordance to my school's differentiation policy.
