This free KS2 poetry resource explores writing a minibeast poem, using the poem ‘Be a snail’ by Roy Moss as inspiration. Roy’s short, impactful poem looks at the inspiring patience and resilience of the snail.

There are clear, easy-to-follow prompts for class activities, a class poem, and individual writing. There is a printable poster of the poem and a stylish blank template for pupils to write up and display their new work. The file type is PDF.
