L4 – The battles of Gate Fulford & Stamford Bridge
L5&6 – The Battle of Hastings, 1066 (2 lessons)
L7 – How did William of Normandy secure his position?
L8 – Review of the Anglo-Saxon & Norman period.

These lessons will help to practice; essay writing skills; primary source analysis; differentiated tasks and learning objectives; range of starters and plenaries; cloze passages; peer assessment.

All activities are included within the presentation.
