A 28 page workbook and lessons with poetry themed around animals and the natural world for teaching to KS3. Designed with Y7 in mind to introduce them to poetic techniques, writing using PEE and being able to respond to unseen poetry.

The workbook includes:
- Poems - The Eagle, Hyena, Pikes, The Raven, Daffodils, The Tyger, In A Station of a Metro, I am a parrot and A Storm at Sea. The last two are just practice poems for the unseen assessment.
- Comprehension tasks for every poem (except for the last two).
- Creative writing tasks for several poems.
- PEE paragraph practice for some poems.
- Speaking and Listening tasks.
- Advice on how to write an unseen poetry assessment.
- End of unit response questions.

There is also:
- An end of unit poetry assessment - unseen PEE paragraph writing for 'The Sea' by James Reeves.
- Several PPTs for some of the tasks e.g. active punctuation, imagist poetry and how to write using PEE.
