This is a lesson I have created for my Y8 mixed ability group on the topic “Le week-end dernier”. I am using it as part of Module 4 (Dynamo 2 vert textbook) but it doesn’t really appear in the book, we are just doing it as an extra.
In this lesson students learn about:
- Things they did last weekend
- Using the perfect tense in French
The lesson includes a starter task and a variety of activities (genuine short reading, translation, vocab activities, etc). All answers included and embedded in PPT.
I teach a mixed-low ability group, therefore the activities are simple and easy to follow. It includes a vocab sheet. This lesson could also be used as cover.
Please note that I am not a French native speaker and my knowledge of French is intermediate. If you spot any mistakes you can let me know and I am always happy to amend and re-upload the resource. The resource is also editable so that you can make any changes you want.
