An introduction PowerPoint to famous French painters and impressionism with mini plenaries and an opportunity for students to create their own impressionist painting. This was used as a transition event to introduce students to aspects of French culture.

I used this powerpoint to introduce my Y12 to l'impressionisme in French. It would have been nice to see more pictures of the painters with their titles and to say what made those paintings impressionistic to get the pupils to understand the key features of l'impressionisme. But thank you for a good starting point.
