Excellent for KS3/KS4/KS5 to develop students’ knowledge (culture) about France. Students will learn about French history, French culture, French geography and will learn a lot of new vocabulary (and fillers).
I watched the movie with all of my years 8 who loved it. Some even bought the DVD and watched it again with their family at home. DVD is available to buy online with English subtitles.
La Grande Vadrouille is a “funny comédie” and was the most successful French film in France for many years. It is now the fourth most successful film ever in France.
Plot:
Several ordinary Frenchmen, helping British pilots avoid Nazi captivity, goes on an epic voyage through the occupied country. A must-watch French movie.
