FRENCH SPORTS VOCABULARY

• 5 pages to support students playing games, if required. Display on screen or print.
• Included with and without background colour.
• Versions with names of sports only AND versions with ‘jouer’ or ‘faire’ phrases

2 x FOUR IN A ROW GAMES

• First to get four in a row - vertically, horizontally or diagonally - wins.
• Students roll dice and say a sports word from that column and say it in French. Laminate boards and use dry-wipe markers.

‘QUELS SPORTS AIMES-TU?’ BOARD GAME

• 2 versions - 1 for practising names of sport, more challenging one to say whether you like / dislike / love / hate each sport.

ACTIVE ORAL CARD GAME

• There are 36 game cards (2 of each design).
• Students circulate to find player with the matching card by asking and answering questions about French sports.
• English and French text versions included, plus full instructions.

FIND THE PHRASES GAME

• Similar to pairs game. Print on quality card stock, laminate and cut cards.
• Students take it in turns to turn over cards to correctly make a French sport phrase (using ‘jouer’ or ‘faire’).
