Lego Slow Writing Pack

This complete Lego Slow Writing Pack contains everything you need to engage students in a creative writing challenge!

Suitable for KS2 (simply use the grammatical areas you have covered).

The most popular way I have used this resource is with a ‘mystery bag’ of real Lego pieces in the corresponding colours. Have students reach in and select however many pieces they need (easy differentiation). They can then use the blocks to create a short creative writing piece, linked to your current theme, or use the picture prompts included for inspiration.

Alternatively, you can laminate the brick cards and have children select a number from a bag/pack.
