LET'S DISCOVER ANTARCTICA - JUNIOR PRIMARY-PRIMARY-LOWER SECONDARY

This is a ready made unit that can be used across primary and secondary levels. Its first preparation was designed to meet curriculum needs in Australia BUT it has been reshaped and revised so that it will fit needs in the US, UK, New Zealand and Australia. At junior primary levels (Years 2-4) it can be used as an introduction to the Antarctic environment. At higher levels the questions require greater depth and more assistance. At secondary levels there are opportunities for research and more complex responses. You select your starting place (country) from pages 2-5 at follow the information. An attachment, which is really a quiz on animals that live in the Antarctic region, is given in black and white form so that hard copies can be distributed for student use. The preparation for lessons has been done. Put on your warm clothes and joing the discovery.
