Life of William Shakespeare School Assembly Script (KS2/3)

This 20 minute script was written by an experienced primary school Head of English who is also, outside of school, an award-winning writer. The script was penned for a Year 6 class but is suitable for performance by any year group in KS2 or 3. The script is deliberately humorous, yet is also full of informative and educational learning opportunities about the life of William Shakespeare. The script has 26 parts but these could easily be split or doubled up depending on the number of children involved.

Please note that this assembly script focuses on the life of William Shakespeare (ie his birth, background, family life, move to London and his death) rather than the plays themselves.
