Another lesson from the early Covid days when students were taught in mixed ability groups. The lesson is based around the Chinese grid method for multiplication. It then extends on to using it with decimals but for lower ability students they can use a ‘helpsheet’ that focuses on placement of decimals if they find the work too difficult. Also includes a 10ticks worksheet and a version I adapted myself for lower ability students

Credit to whoever came up with the helpsheet resource (sorry I can’t remember where I got it from) and 10ticks for the main worksheet.
