A good way for students to practice making links across the text.
1. Students should roll a die twice to get a co-ordinate on the grid.
2. Students should respond to the corresponding square.
3. Students should then roll the die again twice to get another co-ordinate and make a link from their knowledge of the text before responding to the new square.
4. Repeat.
Icon = Themes - students should mind-map what they think the icon represents.
Quotes = students should identify who said it, when and analyse the language of the quote.
Question = students should answer the question in full sentences, using evidence from the text if possible.
