This lesson is designed to last for 1 hour and is resourced with videos, extension questioning, deep thinking and uses graphs/images to aid learning.
This lesson follows the Edexcel KS4 curriculum and looks at how urban areas are managed in both the UK and Brazil. In Brazil students will explore strategies such as pacification, site and service schemes, rural investment and self help schemes. Afterwards students will look at the UK and the issues faced and put forward ideas for how these can be managed.
This lesson includes a starter, lesson objective, plenary, exam question and various student led activities.
