Materials – KS1
I have produced this so that children can become familiar with the descriptive words available to them that
they need to be able to read and spell for the National Curriculum Science Programme. The format for each
material stays the same to aid them with the task.
The chosen items have the correct words written underneath them to encourage correct spelling and can be
written over for practising the spellings. The items are chosen to generate conversation about how they are
made and what properties this describes, therefore.
