A fun game to embed the learning about meat and poultry for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition or other food related courses.
Teaching about the flavour, texture, cost, and popularity of different types of meat, game and poultry can be lengthy and lack excitement. Once the basics have been taught students can play this game to reinforce their knowledge while having a lot of fun!
Packs of cards can be given out to small groups who play against each other in class. Duck, Turkey, Goose, Guinea Fowl, Wagyu Beef, Ribeye Steak, Chicken Feet, Mutton, Lamb, Pork Belly, Chuck Steak, Venison, Rabbit and Pheasant have their attributes pitted against each other in this fun game.
