Mein Haus und meine Stadt

A creative Power Point Presentation including a series of at least three lessons to cover the Topics House and Town. Depending on ability groups this could be split into 5 lessons!

(46 slides)- Ideal for KS3 (YEAR 8 & 9)

It comes with its supportive Worksheet (6 Pages for all 3 lessons) with all tasks for the students.

In the Presentation there are multiple Tasks such as:

• A mini project- Writing Task (Write an advertisement of a beautiful house)

• A Role play (at the Estate Agent) - Group work

• Independent Writing Task ( To write an email to the customer Herr Mueller (A character I created and all lessons are based on)

• Two Scaffolding techniques as Models (For Lesson 1 & Lesson 3)

• One Role Play Model (Lesson 2)

• Mini tasks for translation (Both ways)

• A Peer assessment sheet for the final writing

• Plenary tasks in all three lessons

There are also:
-2 Games (Beat the Teacher & Was fehlt)

• Repetition
• Vocabulary of the rooms in the House following both (es gibt & wir haben)
• descriptive words (10 adjectives & tables on how to conjugate adjectives before nouns using es gibt)
• Vocabulary on places in the Town (In der Stadt gibt es…) with 20 different places in the Town
• Grammar & Structures with Man kann (In Athen kann man…+infinitives)
• Differentiated Tasks (with Extensions)

Fully adaptable Resources. According to the abilities of your students this could be used to cover even 4 lessons. You can add anything else you may need or make it a bit simpler. It challenges the capable students. All tasks are differentiated.
