Miss Havisham SoW

A SoW dedicated to the weird and wonderful Miss Havisham! Used to teach to year 8 classes to begin introducing them to Gothic Horror writing and the introduction of an outsider character (later explored at GCSE in Jekyll and Hyde/ Lady Macbeth). The SoW is a dedicated set of lessons for seven weeks of learning with lots of challenge, retrieval and introduction to analysis writing and contextual information. Comes with a homework booklet too for students to do independent work alongside what they are learning in the classroom. Feedback provided from QA meetings with BW Ofsted inspectors, who spoke positively about the lessons and encouraged them to be shared as they are easy to facilitate and tailor for your individual learners.
