This is a thorough and well thought out unit of work for teaching children about levers and sliders (mechanisms) in design technology at KS1. The children will create moving pictures from a design brief. The lessons follow the circular process of research, design, make and evaluate. Included is a teaching slide which guides the learning through 6 lessons. Each lesson includes a related worksheet in line with the teaching slide, together with WALT and success criteria ready to be printed as sticky labels. This resource will save time and effort for teachers who need help with delivering good quality Design and Technology lessons.
